Almost never, but I do sometimes have these spontaneous bouts of nostalgia where I’ll start playing Super Nintendo, SEGA Genesis, and N64 again. I absolutely hated everything that came out after the N64 and have had zero interest in first-person shooters, RPGs, and just about anything on XBOX 360, Gamecube, or the Wii.

No. I don’t play anything on a computer and do not play any video game that has been released since the N64.

This is an entire 44-minute set by video game cover band Bit Brigade playing along to a speed-run of Mega Man 2. I’m just sitting here with Tom, listening to it and it’s amazing. A guy sits onstage and plays the entire game from start to finish, projected onto a big back screen, while they play along to it.

I loved this game so much.

The “Stampede” level from the Super Nintendo Lion King video game. I don’t know why, but no matter how long I go without ever seeing or playing this game, the song from this level gets stuck in my head all the time.

The urgency and stressfulness of it reminds me of my life.
